Life is funny what can I say,

tomorrow I pray will be a better day.

I asked for Gods' strength, he takes my hand,

now I must decide what is my plan.

                              Do I take a walk in the park or stand in the door,

to hear the dogs bark
                                          Do I help the senior next door or hunch my shoulders

and say I done that before.

Do I go to the kitchen to fix a good meal or

turn on the TV to watch Lets' Make A Deal.

Do I proceed to do housework or sit

and listen to the birds chirp.

Now I know how to begin today's plan,

I must pray to Jesus and say thank you 

Amen.
